Compression Socks. I recently started using compression socks. My feet always swell on flights, but not that much, and it usually goes down quickly, so I hadn’t tried compression socks. As I get older though, I want to take better care of myself. This could be my mind playing games on me, but on the only flight I didn’t wear compression socks on in the past two months, my right ankle felt funky for about 12 hours after the flight. I won’t make that mistake again.


Kindle Unlimited is one of the things I couldn’t live without while I traveled. I could read books without carrying a ton of weight around, and i was able to read so many books that the price of membership was totally worth it. Check it out here.

 

Reading Deep Work, by Cal Newport, is the best thing I did for my productivity in the last few years. It’s a great read that talks about the importance of single tasking while doing your important work. Now, we’ve all heard that multi-tasking isn’t as efficient as we were originally told, but this book really helped me key in on why I need to close all other browser windows, put my phone in another room, and turn off the TV. This is definitely the most influential book I’ve read in the last 3 months.
